The early season thoughts of Arsene Wenger, Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho

It’s rarely interesting to hear what managers have to say. They’re so careful; so guarded. But more than that, they don’t have the words to express themselves most of the time, so they wang out cliches.

One solution to this would be to make up what managers think and put it out as the truth. That won’t do. Instead, we’ve actually gone into the heads of Arsene Wenger, Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho for their early season thoughts. For SEO purposes, that’s the manager of Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Wenger’s head is a mess, as we can see here:

To begin with, his head is blue, which even an idiot starting a diagram without thinking would know is not Arsenal’s colour. That’s just stupid, Arsene. Anyway, what is notable, are the scribbles: Ferguson did them, when he got up in there a few years ago.

Ferguson’s head is far more together. Observe, it’s the right colours and everything.

We can’t explain the little man that’s in there, but there are rumours it’s Brian Kidd.

And then we come to Mourinho.

It’s just a loop of the Dylan song: Man In the Long Black Coat. Haunting.

Why not create your own versions of these?! Because it’s tedious!
