As if Arsene Wenger didn’t have enough to worry about, Arsenal’s Tomas ‘Cassandra’ Rosicky seems to know a free-kick is going in before it’s even gone into the back of the net: a glimpse into his clairvoyant powers or just a glaring lack of faith in Wojciech Szczesny?
Look, he’s already walking back to the centre circle before Sebastian Larsson’s free-kick for Sunderland goes in, and it’s not the first time he’s done it this season – he did it for Wayne Rooney’s first free-kick in the 8-2 against Manchester United. With team-mates like these, who needs opponents? Wonder if he spends training chanting “dodgy keeper” at the Pole. Or perhaps he’s just so injury-prone, it’s best he keeps his physical activity to a strict minimum – turning around to prevent a possible goal, running around, that sort of thing.
