Arsenal, without Fabregas, without Nasri, have had to adapt. They have five wins in six games so it’s worked, to an extent. Gone is the ultra-stylish football with 30-pass moves and flirty backheels, instead, Wenger just throws this on the board.
Particularly good examples of this innovative new tactic (which Barcelona and Manchester City are showing interest in) could be seen against Marseille and Sunderland.
