A History of Violence: Apologies
Some things you look at in your life, and think, ‘By Christ, I shouldn’t have done that.’
The thing is, never apologise the for the things you have done. Apologise, and for this only perhaps, for the things you didn’t do. For not chinning not that man, for not calling that man a cunt, or for not starting that argument.
