La Liga too crowded, says Barcelona president

Spain’s Primera División, commonly known as La Liga, is currently made up of 20 teams.

Sandro Rosell, president of 21-time La Liga champions FC Barcelona, believes this is at least 4 clubs too fat.

“My opinion is that our league has too many clubs,” Rosell said at the International Football Arena conference (whatever the fuck that is) on Monday. “We have 20 and we should go down to 18, then to 16.”
