Arsenal have just lost 1-0 to Manchester City. It’s another defeat when it matters. But worse than this being some kind of issue with mentality, they gave their best game – it just wasn’t as good as City’s. It was close, and City aren’t anything special, but Arsenal just aren’t that good.
So, five things you shouldn’t mention to Arsene Wenger.
Arsenal will do well to finish fourth this season. Wenger is a brilliant manager. He’s just competing against money, and no-one beats money (except maybe Surreal Football, in the end.)
