Don’t you ever get bored of football?

Why would you watch football – money games, horrible young men and horrible old men? Don’t you get bored of all that? especially when there’s loads of other stuff which is pretty entertaining. Looking around, there’s Black Books, a brilliant TV series; there’s Malcolm in the Middle, which has far more to it than you might think alongside being really funny. And there’s also Pinky and the Brain, one of the all time classic cartoons.

I realise of course that in listing alternatives to football, I’ve listed only television series. The reason is, most other things, like football, involve going out with other people and such. Television is just really good. I really only like sitting down knowing I’ve nothing to be getting on with, only TV to watch. And I’m not ashamed of that.

So, here is a clip of Pinky and the Brain. Spend your afternoon watching these and then wonder why you’d ever want to go back to work or watching football. This is what I do all day every day. You should be jealous.
