Hindsight 20/20: Last Year’s Best January Transfers

Without a doubt Liverpool’s best attacking player (and best player overall, I suppose), he would have been easily the best buy of the window were it not for his long spell of terrible finishing (before today Liverpool had scored as many goals as Wolves) and, you know, that…other thing. Ahem. But, yeah. He is a very, very, very good player. Copa America Player of the Tournament, and rightly so.

What an action-packed transfer window! Meanwhile all we got this year was a few loan moves and Ravel Morrison to West Ham Sandwich. :/
