VIDEO: Busquets seriously injured as Barcelona and Real Madrid both win

A serious injury to Sergio Busquets marred Barcelona’s win over Real Sociedad as they kept up the pressure on Real Madrid. Given Busquets’ usual reactions, we can only assume he has checked himself into the local morgue.

The champions fell an astonishing 10 points behind after Real Madrid’s 1-0 victory at Getafe, with Sergio Ramos the goalscorer. Once again proving our theory – Mourinho’s best chance of defeating Barcelona is to do so without playing them.

After a bizarre game in which Barcelona seemed incapable of establishing a comfortable lead, with Messi spurning a number of chances,  the game was marred as Busquets was seriously injured and stretchered off 5 minutes after coming on. Busquets is now added to Barcelona’s increasing injury-list, which includes Afellay, Villa, Pique, Pedro, Fontas, and Iniesta. Their chances of hauling back Real Madrid’s lead look increasingly slim.
