EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: David Beckham Red Carded at Kiddie Soccer Game
No stranger to disciplinary problems on the pitch, international male supermodel and part-time professional footballer for LA Galaxy David Beckham took his Sisyphean battle against referees to the stands on Saturday, receiving a red card and expulsion for dissent at a children’s game in Los Angeles.
The former Manchester United midfielder explained the incident in an upcoming episode of ITV’s The Johnathan Ross Show:
“I was watching the kids play the other day, it was the younger kids of Romeo’s club, and there was a penalty given. And the kids are seven years old and he sent the kid off. And I was like, ‘Come on, he’s seven, referee, you can’t send him off.’ He looked at me and was like, ‘Yes, I can.’ And he came over and gave me a red card. He told me to get out of the park. For real. The gate was only 20 yards away and I waited and went back in when my son’s game was on.”
After many hours of tireless investigative reporting work, we at the FCF have uncovered exclusive video footage of the event, presented here:
Beckham’s publicity team would not comment on allegations that the outburst and subsequent disrobing was a calculated viral marketing stunt for his new underwear line.
