Jake Goretzki, a pro-cartoonist, found on Twitter @jakegoretzki, has taken the time to look into how players act on Twitter. They’ve proved themselves completely different to the stereotypes. Joey Barton is definitely a breath of fresh air and not a boring cliche hipster with a mouth too big for his talent, and nothing interesting to say, for instance.
Similarly, Rio Ferdinand, Michael Owen and Jack Wilshere all say very interesting things all of the time. Here’s our artist’s impression of their work online.
