Homer Simpson sums up Arsenal’s performance against Sunderland

The world, minus those venomous bastards who have stopped watching the FA Cup because it’s well naff, saw Martin O’Neill’s Sunderland defeated Arsenal 2-0 yesterday. Arsene Wenger’s side were outplayed in a game which mapped out the two team’s current trajectories – Arsenal, way down; Sunderland, way up.

It was all very neat. But as we all know by now, The Simpsons will always be more eloquent on any matter than anything else will ever be: Arsenal’s poor form does not speak for itself half as well as Homer Simpson does for it in this clip:

 

 

And of course as the questions over Wenger’s future grow louder, we will soon be turning to The Simpsons to guide us in how to ask them:

 

Finally, once we’re done with all that nonsense, The Simpsons will help us move on from it calmly, and with all involved feeling good about themselves.
