More woes for Chelsea: John Terry ruled out for 2 months.
Chelsea have been dealt yet another blow in what is rapidly becoming a disastrous season with the news that everyone’s favourite defender, John Terrence, will have a knee operation tomorrow that will rule him out of action for 2 months.
With Chelsea facing a very difficult task in getting past Napoli in Europe, floundering out of the Champions League places in the league, and with insubordination seemingly rife in their ranks, the blow is the latest in a series of setbacks for Andre Villas-Boas (or, if you prefer, his alternative moniker) as he struggles to save his job.
Whether Roman wields the axe or not might not even save them now – although a popular figure of hate, only the silly would deny that Terry is one of the most important players to Chelsea, particularly with their defence looking as porous as it has done.
Altogether now: awwwwwwwwwwww. There used to be only one England captain.
Find out how Chelsea get on without him by following Chelsea’s match against Napoli live later on the FCF.
