Over the weekend, the Tories got done for promising access to the Prime Minister and access to put things to the policy committee in exchange for between £100,000  to £250,000 in political donations. Having been caught, the Conservative Party did the decent thing and called into a review on how they are funded. Sorry, my mistake. Having been caught, the Conservative Party opened up with a broadside at the Labour Party for being funded by the reasonably democractic trade unions. Vladimir Putin is odious but has balls, David Cameron is odious but has balls for brains.

This column is nothing if not carping to those it doesn’t like, especially when they lose, so a big Monday morning two fingers curled in the fascista face of Paolo Di Canio and his sub-Mancini chic. May he preside over many more devastating defeats.
